Tropical Birds 1st Grade

1st grade worked on these tropical birds this past week.  They really seemed to embrace the idea of adding a lot of color to their work. 

Skittles!!

The art club just finished up their self-portraits made from Skittles.  We took their picture and then used the Heat Sensor effect on the camera to change their faces to colors.  From there the students drew out where each color was going to end and begin and then came the fun part of glueing each Skittle to the carboard.  They turned out great and are now hanging in our commons area at school.

5th grade Vanishing Point

5th Graders just finished up this project where we draw a sky view of a city using a vanishing point and drawing 3d buildings.
